Privacy policy for the AetherDesk iPhone and iPad app.

Effective October 1, 2026

About this policy

This is the AetherDesk Privacy Policy. It applies to the AetherDesk iPhone and iPad app, not to other apps that share this support website. AetherDesk is provided by the individual developer listed on its App Store product page. LongX AI Home is the support-site brand. In this policy, “we” and “us” refer to that developer. For privacy questions and requests, use the LongX AI Home contact link.

Connection settings and passwords

AetherDesk stores saved host settings, including connection names, addresses, ports, usernames and preferences, locally on your device. If you choose to save a password, it is stored in the system Keychain using a device-only setting accessible while the device is unlocked. Connection details and authentication exchanges are used to access the Mac you select.

Desktop sessions and clipboard text

During a connection, desktop images are received from your selected Mac. Pointer actions, keyboard input and text you choose to send are transmitted to that Mac. AetherDesk connects to the selected host without a developer-operated desktop relay.

Clipboard text is accessed when you invoke the relevant text action, not continuously in the background. Use only computers you are authorized to access and trusted or independently protected networks. AetherDesk does not promise end-to-end encryption for every connection.

Diagnostics and support

Recent diagnostic records are kept locally. They may contain timestamps, app and operating system versions, connection stages, error codes and details, and performance measurements. They are not automatically sent to the developer. The public App Store build does not offer diagnostic report export; please contact support with a description of the issue.

Do not send passwords, confidential desktop content or private connection details in support messages.

If you use the support contact, we receive your email address, message and attachments. We use them to respond to your request and investigate the issue. The contact service is hosted by Google's Gmail service; your own email provider also processes your outgoing message. Messages are not automatically forwarded to another support service.

Support messages remain in Gmail until manually deleted when they are no longer needed. If you make a valid deletion request, we will handle it manually, except where retention is required by law. No automatic 90-day deletion is configured.

Advertising and tracking

No advertising, cross-app tracking or automatic analytics-upload SDK was identified in the AetherDesk client source. This website contains no analytics scripts, embedded third-party fonts or contact forms.

Cloudflare Pages processes website requests to deliver and protect this site; these requests include network information such as your IP address. Website delivery is separate from remote desktop sessions.

Your choices

You decide which Mac to connect to, whether to save a password, and what information to include in a support message. Manage saved connections and optional credentials in the app. Uninstalling the app should not be relied on to remove every Keychain item. System backup behavior is separate from app-provided cloud synchronization.

For questions about support correspondence or to request deletion, use the LongX AI Home contact link. The remote Mac and any network services you choose may have their own data-handling policies.

Policy updates

Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised effective date. Changes to data handling must also be reflected in the app's privacy disclosures.
