Your library and your data.

How LongMPlayer handles information on Apple TV and iPad.

Who provides this app

LongMPlayer is provided by LongX Media. LongX AI Home hosts this support website. This policy applies only to LongMPlayer.

Information used by the app

On your device, the app keeps server names and addresses, connection preferences, favorites, actor and media metadata, viewing history, playback progress and cache data to operate your personal library. If you choose to save sign-in details, the app uses the device Keychain.

When you connect to a server you choose, the app sends requests needed for catalogs, metadata, artwork, history sync and playback to that server. NAS and Jellyfin connections are made to addresses you configure. Metadata requests may pass through the selected server's TMDb proxy. These services may process network information according to their own policies.

iCloud in the current release

In the current release, iCloud user-data sync is unavailable. Its controls are hidden, and the app does not initiate CloudKit sync for your personal library, even if an earlier build saved an enabled preference. Your local data remains on your device. This change does not delete data previously stored in your Apple iCloud account.

Diagnostics, analytics and advertising

LongMPlayer does not include advertising, third-party analytics or crash analytics SDKs, and does not automatically upload diagnostics from the app. Apple may handle diagnostics according to your device settings.

Support email and this website

If you contact support, the operator receives your email address, message and any attachments you send, to answer and investigate your request. Your email provider also processes your outgoing message. This static website uses Cloudflare Pages to deliver pages and may process network information such as IP address. It has no contact form or site analytics script.

Your choices and deletion

You can remove a saved server and clear local favorites or viewing progress in the app where those controls are available. Removing the app removes its local app container on that device; data previously stored in Apple iCloud or held by a server you chose is managed separately. To ask about information controlled by the operator, including support correspondence, or to request deletion, use the contact link below.
