Your choice of video and destination.

Privacy policy for LongYTcut 1.0.0 r4, an Apple Shortcut for iPhone.

Effective October 29, 2026

What the Shortcut uses

When run from the share sheet, LongYTcut receives the video link you share. When run directly, it may use a video link you copied to the clipboard. It uses that link to request available video information and media from the source service over the network.

Where files go

You choose whether to save a downloaded file to Photos or Files. Apple Shortcuts and the destination app handle the file on your device under the permissions you grant. LongYTcut does not require a LongX AI Home account or send your saved video to a developer-operated video-processing server.

Third-party services

Requests to the video source are subject to that service's terms and privacy practices. Apple Shortcuts, Photos, Files and any storage service you choose may handle your data under their own settings and policies. Network requests may reveal your IP address and the requested video link to the source service.

Support and this website

If you contact support, we use the information you send to respond to your request. Please do not include private video links or personal files. Cloudflare Pages processes website requests to deliver and protect this site; website visits are separate from running the Shortcut. This website has no contact form.

Your choices

You can remove LongYTcut from Shortcuts and delete any saved files in Photos or Files. Manage Apple or third-party cloud copies through the relevant service settings. For privacy questions or support correspondence requests, use the LongX AI Home contact link.

Policy updates
