LongYTcut 1.0.0 r4 is an Apple Shortcut for iPhone. Its prompts are currently in English.
Install
Download LongYTcut 1.0.0 r4 on your iPhone, then open the downloaded file in Shortcuts and add it to your library. If Safari saves it to Files, open it from Files.
Use LongYTcut
- In the YouTube app, open a video and choose Share → LongYTcut. You can also copy a video URL and run LongYTcut in Shortcuts.
- Choose one of the available MP4 formats with audio shown for that video.
- Choose Photos or Files as the destination and allow the requested access.
Only formats available for the selected video are listed. Resolution and availability vary by video and network. Save only content you are permitted to download.
Troubleshooting
No format appears or a download fails
Check that the video URL opens normally, your network is available, and the video offers a compatible MP4 format with audio. Try another video if the source is restricted or unavailable.
Cannot save to Photos or Files
Check the permissions requested by Shortcuts and that your device has free storage. For Files, choose a writable folder. The completion message may omit the .mp4 extension; check the saved file itself.
